This is getting so good!!!! I love all the reveals with Lazarus’s parentage, how Ophelia and Kallias came to be (shocking that twist was pulled) and I just KNOW Kallias is hiding something. He is being so sus… must be why we haven’t gotten his POV yet.

“Distract him,” -Eudoxia

“How?” -Ophelia

“Flirt with him.” -Alex

“It’ll work. He’s a man and you’re nice to look at.” -Kallias

“His heart melts at everything about her.”

“You look good angry.” -Kallias to Alexander

“So it won’t be the drinking or the queerness or the irreverence that sends him to Hell. It will be Kallias. And Alexander will happily burn.”

“Lazarus wishes he had weed”

“Eudoxia’s been stealing things from him—his reason, his heart, his mind—since they first meet, and he’ll let her have it all until there’s nothing left.” -Zeno

“She’s either going to slap you or kiss you and you are going to enjoy it either way.” -Zeno

Zeno calling Eudoxia “my darling” changed my brain chemistry

“Alexander is not usually a stalker—actually, he is not ever a stalker—but needs must.”
