I just love Wyatt’s comic books obsession lol

The hospital sequence was really sweet — Troy signing postcards with his autograph and a special message. Ilya beating Troy in Mario Kart against the sick kids and him being cocky about it, classic Ilya!

I kind of feel bad for both Troy and Harris. Troy because he’s so alone and Harris because Troy is kind of a d i c k to him.

I love that: Wyatt invited Troy to BBQ, Dykstra spoke out to Troy about the SA situation, Wyatt’s sister is a lesbian and him being an ally, Rachel finally mentions Fabian, Ryan Price’s bf, Ilya not being with the team on off days to be with you know who but still being on every charity thing and Troy saying that it’s no one’s business.

I also think Harris reminds me of Cam in Modern Family.

I love how Ilya is so including and caring about Troy 🥹 also the f-ing loon tattoo iykyk

“Sometimes bad things happen so better things can happen.” — Troy’s mom (p. 27)

Troy and Ilya are sm more alike than I thought — pressured by their own dads, their dad leaving their mom for another woman, closeted player, great relationship to their mother, gotten under players skin, everyone, except their crush, thinking that they’re dicks.

“He felt like he’d walked into a party he hadn’t been invited to.” (p. 17) so real
