yes i did in fact buy the second book even though i haven't finished the first book and also don't own the first book (2nd and Charles didn't have book 1 sadly 😔)

Starting the audiobook of this, i'm super excited because this book universe has a lot of different books in it so if i like this i'll have lots more to read from this world!
