There are a lot of characters. And the story frequently switches POV without warning. So it’s a bit hard to keep everything straight.

Long book! 10% in and I still have over 8 hours of reading to go. 😮

Interesting that the 1st chapter opens on the POV of a side character who interacts with the main character, then switches to the MC POV.
