I feel like I can already see where this entire thing is going. And it feels a little heavy handed like it’s trying to be painfully obvious. Girl isolated from society by uncle who knows to question the ruling class while also being part of that class. Girl turns 17 (of course) and goes to uni, but religion says she needs a man, and of course he needs to be of the same race to “preserve the species”.
