What. Bro finds shape shifting NPCs and becomes obsessed. That was a ride. Very well written, just like the protagonist I really wanted to know what those creatures were.

I'm not sure what to think about this one. I think this is about memories and escapism from reality through remembering the good parts in the form of the hologram technology But that's what I got from it. Gotta let it stew I think

The Gernsback Continuum:
Interesting short story about culture and how it can subconciously influence our perception of reality. Semiotic ghosts are an interesting concept and I think it does explain a lof of "UFO" sightings. This story is less science fiction and more an exploration of it's impact on the zeitgeist. Neat

Finished the first short story, Jonny Mnemonic. Some really tight world building. I can see how the world of the sprawl series took shape. Also a nice detail for recurring characters. A nice short story to introduce the world
