One more Gu Yun and Shen Yi moment for the ages, my favorite danmei friendship

I loved reading more about Gu Yuns father, and seeing his perspective. It makes his actions more understandable now

Liao Ran has such a main character energy, I wish he could've been in the story more. Or had a series about himself

He had the cure all these years, and had no idea? What was the point of giving it to him anyway if the emperor wasn't gonna explain what it was?
That is honestly the cruelest thing the emperor could have done to Gu Yun, poison him, and then secretly give him a cure that he won't find until it's useless

And that's it for the main story, I'm kinda sad it's over, but also it wrapped up too nicely, it felt too convenient. I feel like the story dragged too long, and multiple storylines were recycled. I'm too lazy to write a long review. Loved Chang Geng and Gu Yun tho, and I still have a lot of extras to go

Things are getting insane again, so much plotting, betrayal, and deception

I feel like the story is dragging a bit, which is sad, because I really like this series. I still don't understand what Chang Gengs endgame is. He said what he wants, but I just don't see Gu Yun agreeing with dismantling the entire Li dynasty
