that plot twist just blew my mind and shattered my heart. please please please don’t let her betray him in the next book. Jaren has my heart and it would break me to see him hurt.

I need to talk about the fact that this is the first time that the trials in a fantasy book actually scare me and feel FEAR alongside the protagonist. This tests are horrible, truly my worst nightmares. Maybe it is because of the fact that they are outright a death sentence while the other trials usually have a way of surviving them however little or impossible it’s still there.

So far so good, I just met Jaren who seems nice and intriguing, I really like Tipp and already want him safe and, as regards Kiva, I love a protagonist who knows how to take care of herself and is capable of going to various length to survive.
