a third of the way through this book and he’s only kind of sort of mentioned being gay like twice. don’t get me wrong i’m cool with the stories about his career but like that’s not the reason i bought the book. i want to feel the gravity and heartbreak of his decision to leave baseball to be with a man and if he doesn’t really talk about being gay i’m not sure how im supposed to feel emotionally invested
