Wtf am I reading 🫩

I’m sorry but how are yall already in love and it’s been like 3 days 😭

And if I said I like reflection-Ying more than the real her 🤷🏾‍♂️

I don’t think the author did a good enough job of developing Li Ming and Ying’s relationship to where it makes sense that she would do all this. I get that they’ve known each other for a long time but we never really see how they interact and why Li Ming is worth so much sacrifice

This book would be so much better if the romance was a slow burn and/or more of a side plot

Ok, restarting this after reading smth else definitely helped but I still don’t like it. The mirror prince feels like a very flat character and Ying hasn’t rlly show the badass female protagonist that she has the potential to be. It feels like she’s been kind of reduced to a clueless damsel. And on top of that the magic system isn’t explained as well as it could be, leaving me feeling a tad confused.

It feels like I’m reading two different books, one that’s a good action book and the other that’s the worst romance book I’ve ever read. It seems like the author is js giving every reason for Ying to touch the princes and their connection seems superficial

The romance between the Mirror Prince and Ying feels a little bit rushed and surface level
