No because Adam should get more credit for raising James. And that novella made me understand him more.
Also i understand now that Juliette was never for him. The way he talks about her is just not right and never was. Warner saw her strenght and Adam her weakness.
Still he is such a complex character. I don't excuse his actions. But i can't hate him for it either.
