Chapter 47 - OMG!!! The raw emotions going through the Mcs, battling their deepest insecurities, not only with combat, CJ Astra lets them simmer and smolder in them, letting the reader explore their own wounds. He's showing the internal battles many face throughout their life, he doesn't lightly do it, he shows the true nature of what they do. Beautiful, emotional, authentic and not appreciated for what he's putting

I've encountered a writer that knows what trauma/insecurities to put in each main character, show the hardship, doesn't reveal easy fixes, but let's the rough emotion stretch, expose the damage and ever so slowly heal in steps, but enough to show the authentic truth of suffering and love....damn it hurts, but is oh so beautiful.
