Let me start by saying I watched the movie before I read the book and really liked the movie. But I thought the book was 100x better than the movie. Not to nerd out but as a chem PhD student, the science is legit and I loved how it was integrated into the story. Grace was funnier in the book than the Movie, and I thought there were really interesting scenes regarding surviving on earth that were cut from the movie
