Feeling very concerning thoughts about this woman constantly comparing her undead girlfriend to her very dead sister 😬

So far, I'm really enjoying this. There's necromancy, a whole lot of bugs, a polyamory relationship with a necromancer and two undead partners - love, love, love all that.

The only thing I'm worried about at the moment is that while this writing style is lovely, a whole lot of metaphors and dense ornate language, will it still be endearing after 300+ pages or will it turn into a purple prose situation?
