My 1944 edition is only 240 pages, not 284. I smell the finish line.
A very good book, gets a little dry and economicy at times, less than average dryness for books by economists.
Gets to the root of problems that still exist in the modern world. Anglo Saxon [England US etc] 'free' market economies that value freedom and liberty vs. Planned economies as seen in socialist countries that don't have much interest
