Ugh, Lyagavy is such a dolt! Chapter 2 of Book 8 was stressful

There's something to be said for the connection that can be had among sinners and saints. Sometimes, a person like Grushenka in such sorrow and difficulty, that it becomes her desire to get out of it, and Alyosha is that light. Conversely, Alyosha has a merciful disposition—surely imparted by Father Zossima—that's unable to look at Grushenka with scorn like Rakitin does
