The politic intrigue feels subservient to Paul’s internal strife which is fine #manvsfate? #deathof61billion? I wish we delved more into why exactly the jihad was inevitable and saw the perspectives of people actually impacted by the jihad (aka massacred) Bc rn it js sounds like Paul couldn’t gaf enough to stop genocide (ik it’s more complicated than that but that’s how it looks)

Why did the foreword summarise the book and spell out the entire takeaway… god forbid you trust the readers to have some media literacy… I KNOW it’s about dismantling the whole hero god image of Paul. They’re literally colonising all the planets and spreading violence and bloodshed and he had a horrible premonition of this happening in the first book. was I sposed to hv skipped the foreword

jennifer I FORGOT TO ADD THAT there’s some genuinely weird incestuous vibes going on. Like Paul what do you mean you saw your sister naked accidentally and from your “male reaction” to her body you decided she needs to get married to someone and have a “mate”. WHAT are you talking about Frank Herbert. Why is there a category of men extremely preoccupied with finding family members attractive ?
