I need to shake the author and ask her how she was able to make Sylvia this insufferable!

They are literally in the middle of a battlefield surrounded by dead bodies, and all they’re doing is flirting while throwing knives at each other? Am I getting too old for this? why is the tone of this book bothering me so much?

The reviews are concerning despite the high rating, but I already own the book physically so I think I don't really have a choice🤷🏻‍♀️
