i swear the author contradicts herself on every page like??? Aiko is a super planner (apparently) who even know thats the get together of her company should start exactly 30 minutes after the end of the church service — then her mom and her friend appears (after the event starts punctually) and goes on complaining that the service was so long and the pastor talked way too much HOW DID YOU KNOW WHEN TO START THEN

i’m at 30% but idc, i cannot with the fmc of this book. the gentrification storyline would be interesting if it was not for Summer’s own selfish reasons and ego to preserve this school — she even does the whole “you know who i am” bullshit to Aiko and every time she talks about the school she brings up her grandmother and her “family honour”
