Tangent alert: may have to ditch the TBR and continue this series because this book has me HOOKED! The plot, the characters, the humour just everything this book has to offer has put me in a strong place with this series! Books 3 and 4 are rumoured to be the best so obviously will pick them up immediately!

So it was a spy mission! Yesssss! I love a good old spy mission!

I LOVE ALEX. She’s so smart and her witty humour is the cherry on top. I really really enjoy her character! Like she CLOCKED Aven hard with this!
“You’re disinherited,” “I know it’s a big word, but FYI, it means they’re not your family anymore. Buy yourself a dictionary.” LIKE HELLO HAHAHA. This is how you clock men!

I’m so confused because Aven is at the mansion as well as the mind reader and the students missing from the files. Like how is this happening coincidentally with their mission to reduce the juggler?! Like what is the connection & why?

This book is a comedy show and I’m so here for it! Not Jordan and Alex smacking heads because Jordan was so close to Alex’s face while she slept. This book is hilarious

Really interesting time in Meya! Lots of information about Alex’s abilities and literal sixth sense. I find it curious how she should be keeping the secret of Aven’s blood to herself and not showing her cards to her friends. I really like the moment she had with Roka- I can see them becoming great friends. There’s still something that hasn’t been revealed yet about Alex and I feel we’re getting closer!
