Reading the intro rn and I love knowing about history. (ie Supreme Court cases) the book mentioned Oregon trying to get rid of Catholic schools (remember the KKK was nonreligious) which is a Supreme Court case called Pierce v society of sisters (holy names!!) and also mentioned plessy v Ferguson, which made the term separate the equal basically promoting segregation and saying it’s ok if they have equal facilities
