Ok so an update. I'm liking this but definitely not loving it. Perhaps I had very high expectations as this was such a popular book when it came out. I don't really like Henry and for that matter Clare too. I just don't see this as a great big love story....we'll see if my feelings change when I finish it. I am still intrigued enough to keep listening. I want to see how all this ends up.

I think I liked the movie better than the book. And there are scenes from the book that persist in my memory. It is quite an unusual story.
Sorry this isn't a story you are loving. I have to admit that I thought I was about the only person on the planet who hadn't read it! So pleased to know I wasn't on my own and not feeling too guilty on having missed out now! I hope you manage to stick with it until the end :)

Thanks Anna! I should finish by the end of the day. @Yvonne there are some aspects I still like but very "middle of the road" for me. Yes, I will finish it for sure.
