Interesting little plot. Interesting little narrative. Do I really care about this particularly? Maybe not. Interested enough to perhaps try the second book. These books are rather self-contained and completely out of chronological order. I think I might give Yendi a go later.

Not sure of how I'm feeling right now. I guess I had fun with the book, and I'm getting really close to the big finale. Some weird gigantic thing is going to happen. Really impressed with how Brust manages to pull these plot twists that actually make you feel something in so little pages. Definitely refreshing after being so used to thick epics.

Such dramatically glorious reveals! And the payoff is incredibly quick while remainly immensely satisfying. That plot twist was really well-crafted.

Honestly, me reading Jhereg is extremely interesting. It has Mistborn Era Two's banter, Six of Crows' criminal underground feel, Mistborn Era One's houses and nobles, and basically components found in every classic fantasy possible all put together into one strange ecosystem.

Huh. Funny little book. Not sure if anything is clicking with me. At least it's not another redhead.

Pretty interesting vibes here... Basically a clash of rather classical fantasy-ish ideas (dragons, witchcraft, sorcery, etc.) and the criminal underworld. Haven't read a first person POV in quite some time... Slightly disorienting to be honest.
