Reading my first 張愛玲 Eileen Chang. My first Chinese book in a long while. It’s written in the traditional way - characters going from top to down and right to left. The number of adjectives used to describe tiny little things is out of the world. Eg. The colour yellow is similar to chicken oil yellow 😮
