Lucy Hurd’s Reviews > Empire of Storms > Status Update

I was meant to have an early night tonight but NO evil queen Maeve had to threaten Elide Lochan didn’t she

Would really like Maeve to bog off, I have no time for her. I would also like to know if Elide has any actual powers or just her sixth sense.

Honestly couldn’t see through my tears when Elide finally got to Aelin and Manon, she’s by far my fave. I also didn’t think Ansel would arrive until the last book so that was fun.

I would rather like for Elide and Lochan to meet up w the gang now pls

Gavriel is defo sacrificing himself to save Aedion at some point, it’s a classic, calling it now. At least two of Gavriel, Fenrys & Lorcan are dying. Sarah has literally given us more of these characters so she doesn’t have to kill off the main characters.

I can’t stop screaming at the book. Why do I get to know where Elide is and yet Manon and Aelin have no clue. Lowkey Manon should’ve taken the key coz she got to Aelin first. Also so jokes that Lorcan has had a key with him the whole time just not where he thought.

Lysandra as a sea dragon was awesome. The Roman aelin sex scene was more intense than expected. Elide is so cool, I wanna be her friend. Those are my thoughts

Honestly can people stop getting possessed

Elide I beg u keep the wyrdkey well hidden

I’m audiobooking the prequel atm so I’ve just listened to Aelin piss off the pirate lord which made her appearance in his office even more incredible
