Wodehouse-like characters, international political intrigue, impossible romps and obvious red herrings, did I mention ridiculous characters? Biscuits in the night, such random infatuations and that marriage proposal. What is happening in this story. This is hilarious.

This is the oddest, most chaotic Christie I’ve read. Not “subtle” at all.
