Oh my, this one started with a bang. Chaol and Arobynn’s reunion with Aelin wasn’t on my radar this soon. First of all, Arobynn was the first one I truly hated in this series, and I don’t know how to feel about him right now. I still hate him but is he really looking for redemption? I don’t trust him, and the fact that she never knew what kind of relationship they had? Brother, father, LOVER??? Ugh, gross.

Nooo, Chaol😭 Sarah why are you doing this to me? I truly fell in love with Chaol since he showed up and seeing all these changes is killing me. I love Rowan but I haven’t managed to let Chaol go completely, yet. These last few pages broke me. He’s so cold, judgemental and REALLY doesn’t trust Aelin. No more ring or Eye of Elena😭 How did we get here?? And I don’t like Nesryn, get away from Chaol pls.
