Unless I have missed it, we haven’t actually named what evangelical church “everyone goes to.” This would be a lot more compelling than the vague gesturing.

Ok. We’re going that thing where it becomes likely that the author did is not from an evangelical background…

We’ve talked about it being a “dry city” and how no one drinks and it’s a sin (could be several denominations but mostly rules out any liturgical / high church sects.)

Idk if I like the idea that (and Yesteryear did this too) that all tradwives (or at least all the ones in these two books) are miserable, fake, and hate their lives. I think there are plenty of people who just do not have the life experience (I don’t mean this as derogatory. People don’t know what they don’t know) to see the problematic things about this lifestyle / dynamic.

Some of the writing is a bit… clunky? Overall good. What I’m referring to is an edit issue not author issue (I believe.)
