I decided to read this because I had read Blindness and found it unique and thought provoking. Seeing is a political satire, which i could tolerate, but the sentences are ridiculously long, with too many unnecessary phrases and sparse punctuation. I think the style is a caricature of political speechifying, so it's appropriate, but really painful to slog through. I will finish it, as the plot is again unique.
