this feels like a well more fleshed out version of the second part of „song of achilles“ where both patroclus and achilles arent glazed with sugar and romance but shown as what they were- war-mongers!!
seeing a light on briseis and her life before the war camp and during the siege on troy is perfect, as her kingdom was one of the casualties never mentioned.
