The Body is an instant new favourite for me. Anything that captures that indescribable feeling of childhood and everything that comes with it, fear, adventure, anger, shyness, feeling small, feeling brave, I am all over it. Such a bittersweet story that I fell totally in love with. In 200 pages I was a kid again.

Apt Pupil is probably one of the darkest stories from SK, to the point where it wasn’t even enjoyable to read at times. But about half way through it changes and becomes such a tense and high stakes story which was impossible to look away, no matter how horrific it was. Ending was a bit abrupt though.

The ending of Shawshank Redemption made me cry and might be SK’s most beautiful ending. Amazing.
