Stumbled upon this at Half-Price Books today while searching for a Rachel Carson title. The illustrations convinced me to purchase — stunning! I think this will be a book I pick apart at leisure, reading about a tree here and there. Already loving how Drori takes a tree and contextualizes it in terms of history, medicinal/material uses, folklore, religion, etc.
