Laura is showed her dorm by Samantha. Another monkey makes his appearance. If she did not use the toilets with running water, Laura asks her what she should do. Sammie replies to use the drop-off. Laura makes her way. The locale is scary. Insects, and a big spider crawling the sides of the hole, with shit and a putrid smell. She goes immediately to her bed. Laura reaches the Bolivian wildlife retreat in the Amazon area by bus. She meets Agustino and the monkey, Coco. Coco is on a fencepost as Laura exits the bus. It is hot, humid, and the jungle is riddled with animals and insects. She swats a couple of mosquitos. Laura, Agustino, and Coco finally arrive at the park (el parque).
