Story #2: Pinestar’s Choice
Another 4 so far. Good quick read. Interesting to see Pinestar act so uninterested in Tigerkit in Bluestar’s book and now we know why, the omen. Jake asking about Talltail aw. I like to imagine in this and Bluestar’s that Pinestar and Jake are also mates or at least sexual companions. Pinestar doesn’t seem that interested in Leopardfoot. Jake’s a bit of a hoe haha.

Story #1: Spottedleaf’s Heart
This was a 3. The grooming is gross but I think it shows just how evil Thistleclaw is. There’s a mirror in the kit getting attacked and her getting groomed. I don’t really think this needs to be in a kids book though especially since it wasn’t addressed as grooming as a warning. Also story felt a little flat. I’m not sure I like that she watched Bluestar leave with the kits.
