Dustin, Although Straub is often considered a horror/occult fiction writer, I liked best his novel Mystery. I didn't see it in your profile of "read books" but saw plenty of other similar likes.

I wanted to read Koko first, as Mystery and The Throat are the loose sequels in his Blue Rose Trilogy, so hopefully I'll get to Mystery within the next few months.

There I go recommending something without remembering its timeline or the connection with Koko & The Throat.
