Idk how I feel about this book. There are waves of boring mundaness, the jumps into the main character’s novel, and the memory police. Why do people like this book?

It’s got very freaky. The MC’s novel took a sharp turn. It went from being captured to “he does as he pleases with me”. She is slowly losing herself; she lost her ability to speak and can’t comprehend unless it her captor. I also think it’s implied that the MC slept with R 😱 after the memory police incident; why does she know the contours of his body? Is it because I am in a freaky mood? 🗿
