Now THAT is a horror novel. It’s been a while since I’ve read something so concise and thoroughly compelling. Also, some of the gnarliest scenes I’ve ever read, I had to put it down and walk away at least twice. It’s uniquely brutal and mercilessly visceral, yet somehow still so beautifully written. Sodergren is quickly becoming one of my all time favorite authors.
