Not a single relevant event in the story so far that Sophie hasn’t made about her. Family is grieving yet she’ll spin the narrative about how certain things make her feel or affects her. Girl get over yourself please.

Sophie’s not a really nice character to read a pov from. She either acts like she’s above everything and everyone in that mansion coz she’s not raised in a typical Filipino household or she’s so deep in her insecurities that it’s getting really annoying. Pick a side girl. You can’t both be the antagonist and the victim.

I’m getting the ick… why is this book revolving around the Marcoses? Ugh. I don’t want to read about that.

What the heck is “auncle”?? I thought at first it was a typo but then it’s mentioned again.
