This book is poorly written. Phrases and idioms are often repeated and the footnotes are overused, not in a good way. It feels very forced, like the author didn't know how to make her FMC like-able so she just made her quirky, funny and head over heels with her ex ?? Which didn't turn out good, it never does anyway. And I refuse to believe somewhere random in Italy, 4th of july is celebrated every year.
