The term "cozy sci-fi" always makes me shudder a bit because cozy fantasy is a difficult subgenre for me while hopepunk and solarpunk (which some primarily fantasy readers refer to as "cozy") are my favorite sci-fi subgenres. Hoping this labeling is because the storytelling priorities are closer to the latter than the former. So far, so good, but only ~30 pages in
