The handling of the timeline is very engaging. Even though months and months can pass in the flip of one page, nothing ever feels disjointed or illogical. Serena has begun her Jihad...but I worry that it will not be named after her, but for her. We shall see what comes of this Giedi Prime operation as all the pieces come into play. The Sorceress, the Savant, the Battlemaster, and the Zealot.

Interesting continuation and a strange choice to make Atredies descended from two Agamemnons. I do wonder if the Cymeks will turn coat and sacrifice themselves to help Free Humanity overthrow the Thinking Machines. I am thankful they clarified that Erasmus is a villain. He is still a reprehensible character however intriguing.

I really like it so far. The world building is solid, the characters are well realized thus far... I am wondering where everyone's hate for this trilogy comes from... perhaps I shall soon learn...
