I will fully admit that I’ve had a hard time getting into this book like I did the first two. Everything up until the meeting of the high lords has been lackluster.

Some initial observations -

Let me start my mentioning that I am listening to the audiobook (not reading a physical copy).

First - the tone of the first portion of this book - oof. Angry. Venomous. Spitting. Feyre is PISSED, and she doesn’t give a f*ck.

Second - I am DEEPLY upset that Jennifer Ikeda did not narrate this, as she did the first two books. I LOVED her narration.
