I was very put off by what was going on in the beginning it seemed too stupid. And this kid does not talk like a contemporary American much less a 13 year old foster kid.... still, I'm interested enough to overlook some stuff... (audiobook included in audible premium. A supposedly queer harry potter-esque alternative.)
