Pretend to be on the phone to someone like fully chat with them or better yet call them Also record them if possible so that if anything happens they can track him down using your photo of him
If you can move do it sit close to someone else or the driver and keep your friends/family updated on where you are just incase you need picking up
I phone called my dad while on it just in case :)
