This is a cozy read....I like the prose and wording in this book. The way Nina sees herself is so reflective of how introverts see themselves versus the world. The adventure of the van and book store are objects for Nina to master. Her self confidence is growing as tackles each challenge. I feel cozy when reading this book. I am excited for Nina.

After a long soak in the bath, using the incredibly expensive bubble bath and bath salts that had been left out in a basket, like a posh hotel, and which she'd never dared use before (she cared less now, if she was en route to eviction), she even felt cleansed.
"He is very cross with you," said Marek. "He blame you for everything."

Books were the best way Nina knew - apart from, sometimes, music - to breach the barrier, to connect the internal universe with the external, the words acting merely as a conduit between the two worlds.
