The nearly 700 page sequel that I have an ARC for is going out in a few week so I got to get a move on with this one. I am enjoying this. Rom-coms are super hit or miss for me, particularly fantasy rom-coms, but I'm liking the tone of this book

I have an ARC for the sequel as a push to read this first book so I’m finally reading. I sometimes struggle with these sort of comedic fantasy romances but this is pretty good so far. These books are quite long though, this one is 512 and the sequel is 688! Just hoping these a good enough plot to justify that length.
