Mapleshade was a 4, this was only a 3. It was cool to see his visions, how they work, and why he avoids kittings and why he would possibly get confused in prophecies with all the voices. Riverclan medicine cat coming to Thunderclan was interesting. But the Hawkpaw not being a warrior pissed me off. Good Reddit comment about how we can pretend he was medicine, warrior, medicine again.

Quick read, but good dark story. I like the faster pace of the novellas. This bitch is fucked up though. Even though Thunderclan didn’t treat her well and Appledusk is a hoe, she didn’t have to do all that.
