There are two sayings that come to mind when I listen to this book:
1. Make a stupid man pray, and he will crack his skull on the floor.
2. Silence is golden.
Poor Remi, I'm completely on his side so far. Dealing with naive idiots is tough, especially if he really loves her. I'm sure he's having lots of facepalm moments. Darwin Award for the win. And Remi will get his powers back when she dies.
