i watched the show before i started reading this book and it’s already so so good and as i’m reading i’m realising just how accurate the show is to the book, the script is literally the same as the dialogue in the actual book, i love it so much.

i finished the second tale, the sworn sword and it was sooo good but i’m not sure i can compare it to the first tale. there was a lot of talk about the blackfyre rebellion and who owned who’s land many years ago which confused me but it was still really good. poor duncan has broken nearly every one of his bones again. the poor guy can’t catch a break. also valarr’s death being mentioned made me sad

i just finished reading the first egg and dunk story, the hedge knight, and it was sooo good. dunk and egg are so sweet i love them. aerion was so evil i’m glad he got banished but i feel bad for baelor because he truly was such an honourable prince. im so very excited to read the next two stories and watch the new season coming out next year.
