Meh, I don’t like it when comics get meta like this, saying Aquaman a joke in world with SNL skits and such. I don’t think he is in the comic world even if people mock him in the real world. This is a new start on Aquaman I assume with the volume 1 and all, it just feels a bit offensive to the people who like the hero enough to pick up the comic. Are people ironically reading the series?
